After a 2 year hiatus, i decided to my blog back up for "MOMMY DIARIES". The photo above was taken on April 1, 2022 and that was the day after I found out I'm with Child!
So throwback to March 31, 2022.
It was around 9 AM and I was packing for Boracay for one of my best friend's wedding( Arianna) and for some weird reason, i really asked myself - "Should I bring napkins?". It was going to be the first day of my period so I decided to test.
To be honest, Kirby and I have been trying since 2021. I am diagnosed with PCOS (Polycistic Ovarian Syndrome) , I have been on the pill for 10 years and i have some fertility issues. We kept trying but there really was no luck. It also came to a point wherein I made my husband take fertility pills from healthy options and my twin sister (Jasmin) also purchased an Ovulation Tracker called PREMOM to help us.
It honestly took a while, it was an extremely stressful process.
There were also times when you think you're pregnant but then your period just comes out and I couldn't even imagine how I managed to compose myself without the help of my twin and some of my closest friends.
It's also hard if you live in a country wherein people ask- "When are you giving birth?", "Don't you plan to have kids?", etc. Those things don't help at all and there wee times when I actually broke down.
When I finally confronted my doctor about our situation (Dr. Eleanor Casquejo), she made me take clomid and My twin sister also made sure that I would track using PREMOM and finally it happened.
So back to March 31, 2022.
When i took the test, I saw a faint line and I started crying like crazy cause i felt like it was a miracle! The first person i messaged was my twin sister. In her heart, she knew as well that I was pregnant. Well, obviously, we're twins so maybe that's why. When she arrived the house, she immediately made me take another PT to confirm and it really was Positive! So we were really ecstatic about it. Our prayers were granted. My brother in law(Ralph) thought it would be funny though to switch the COVID and PT test to prank my husband (Kirby), so yes, he did that.
After pranking my husband, we decided to talk to the doctor about it and she gave me some medications since Boracay will be so hot and will involve a lot of walking. When we got back, I immediately got an ultrasound and at first nothing was there (since it was too early) but when we came back a month later(April 2022), there it was:
